Walking into this restaurant felt like stepping into Sevilla. Their garlic oil king prawns were especially delicious! We loved them so much we had to order a second serving at the end of our meal. We were also looked after by the loveliest Sasha, who provided amazing customer service and gave us some great local recommendations. Definitely add to your Canterbury list!

Beautiful Spanish tapas, all of which was just as tasty as we have had travelling round Spain. Light batter on the calamari and so tender, pulpo was delicious and the fried Manchego cheese was perfect. A lovely place for a meal while wandering round Canterbury.

When you walk into a restaurant and it's busy, you know you have made a good decision. Very good menu and very reasonably priced. Got served with food a bit too quickly, and whilst the service was good, it got slower as the place got busier. That aside, the food was really good. For tapas, you get 3 of everything, and we had 9 different dishes between 2. This was plenty. We sat downstairs, and i would strongly suggest you sit upstairs. It had more life and atmosphere. A good night out and would recommend.

We had a really good meal here recently before visiting the Marlowe Theatre. The online booking system was easy to navigate, we were able to get a table at the time we wanted. Our server, Tarnie, was excellent - she was attentive and helpful with suggestions. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed the sangria. This wasn't our first visit here and we'll definitely be back! Thank you .

Some of the best tapas in Canterbury surely but some of the best food I have ever had! We got many dishes and each was better than the rest. The calamari and octopus were so fresh and flavourful, as was the veg collection. Tasty, smooth sangria that wasn't watered down. They brought out me the dessert I wanted to try as it was my birthday. Very sweet. The atmosphere feels like you're in a quaint spot in Barcelona. Could not fault a thing. 100% would travel to Canterbury to eat here again! Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner El Sol!
